My Story
I’m Mark McClure. The inspiration for this website came from a trip to Fort Collins, CO. While I was there, I connected with a family friend Brian. Brian and his wife connect with people to share the love of Jesus through conversations, playing music at hospices, nursing homes, and parks, and by inviting people into their lives. Sunnyside Refugee, my band name reminds me to look on the Sunny side of life and also that we are all sojourners in life. While we all have pain and sorrow, joy can flow and be woven into meaningful lyrics and songs. I hope to bring some hope to your day from the reservoir of knowing and following Jesus.
